Rocamadour

The city is built in the middle of the rock that is part of Causses du Quercy. you can choose to walk down from where the castle stands or to park your car below and walk up the city. Along the way you will encounter a series of chapels with different frescoes. There is also an elevator that can bring you from top to bottom and visa versa.

Rocamoudour is the second largest place in France (after Lourdes). More information can be found on this website.
