Caves of Padirac

There are many caves along the rivers of the Dordogne and the Lot. Gouffre de Padirac is one of the most famous and spectacular. This is because two things of this cave are very appealing to the imagination. Firstly, the entrance consists of a huge hole in the ground with a diameter of more than forty meters and secondly a river flows in the cave, where you cruise with gondolas. In addition to the beautiful halls, these two qualities make this cave so popular with tourists.
